Stuhoo Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 "possibly reach a decision on a college destination relatively soon." “I haven’t decided 100 percent but (Baylor, Indiana and Villanova) are possibly the final three. I will focus now on finishing my season in Finland and will make a decision after the season,” Little said. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ FWIW, Finland's top division season ends March 20th. After that there are playoffs, but Miro's team currently does not project as a playoff team. If they made the playoffs, they could be playing as long as mid-April. Gnet550 and lillurk 2 Quote

Even open to more schools potentially. We’ve heard that song before. Quote

You mean it was less than a page going from decided to potentially being open to other schools? "With such a long journey from Finland to the U.S., it won’t be easy for Little to make additional visits. Back home now, he’s focused on finishing out his season with HBA and will then assess whether he has enough information about his top three schools, whether additional visits to other schools are required, and possibly reach a decision on a college destination relatively soon." lillurk 1 Quote

Not sure I’m getting your point. If he was sold on a school, that final inclusion isn’t necessary. Doesn’t mean it won’t be Indiana or Baylor or Villa, but it’s interesting verbiage to even bring it up after announcing a final 3. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Thought I hit MultiQuote, there was a question on the last page (here) if he had already decided after his visit to sounding like he could be open to other schools. It's painful to read that we're hyping tradition and a new coach (again) while other schools are pointing to recent success (nattys). WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app I don’t think he ever announced a final 3. These 3 schools where where the ones he wanted to visit while coming over for campus visits. From the articles I’ve seen these 3 where the main schools but other teams were trying to get involved. Indiana muskie and lillurk 2 Quote

Would be nice to be a guaranteed NCAA team each year. This year will be a fringe contender for March again. That’s why initial success is critical. Sales pitch has promise to begin with, but goes away after missing tournaments. Archie missing NCAA with Romeo killed any Archie momentum he ever had. These are junior year OVs, too, so in theory he could even come back to IU (or Baylor or Villanova) next year, though if he decides this spring then I assume he’d only use one senior year OV, to visit the school he commits to. IUc2016 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Didn't Purdue just sign some big oaf from Sweden? Would be pretty ironic if IU were to get Miro from Finland. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote
Stromboli Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 You have to respect his other two choices. Both great programs with obvious recent success. Without having had the chance to see him play, I like that I can rely on his offer/interest list to feel good about him. And obviously the interviews and shots of him smiling giving Race a high five at the game make me like the dude a lot. Gabe Cupps! We barely know the kid, and he’s this huge deal in Ohio and on Instagram. Now he’s out there helping us recruit other players to his position! I hope we land Little. And I can’t wait to see what our playing style becomes when we’re flush with high level combo guards. Class of '66 Old Fart, Stuhoo, HoosierHoops1 and 3 others 6 Quote
