Trent Markwith of Relentless Hoops - Kaleb Glenn was excellent in a win at the PIT today. He might be the best rebounder I’ve seen at the 16U level in Augusta. Strong as an ox, timing, and nonstop effort on both backboards. His strength was too much to handle inside as a finisher, stepped out for 2 3’s as well.

Glenn has a lot of Lamar Stevens to him. Good, good player.

From a Louisville website but we're definitely in the hunt.

“So far, Louisville is recruiting me the hardest”, he said. “Indiana is right there too, not far behind at all. Tennessee and Texas AM are also in the mix.”

With Glenn, Sheppard and the Washington kid from Louisville all in ‘23, when was the last year that Kentucky had more premium kids in a class than Indiana? Been a few years, hasn’t it? And, no, LaLu kids don’t count.

How often do reclasses pan out? Serious question.

I would love to see some hard data, but anecdotally I think they work pretty well with one notable exception.

Average-sized or smaller PGs don’t have a good track record when reclassifying to get to college sooner. Derryck Thornton is probably the poster boy here, Ashton Hagans a guy who eventually panned out.

But players at other positions seem to pan out more often than not.

(For what it’s worth a decent number of reclass guys are moving from a class where they’d be old to one where they’re more normally aged compared to peers.)

This part is key! Not sure how old Glenn is, but he may be as old or older than Clowney, and within a few months of Duncomb
