Having trouble getting too excited over the other names being tossed around. Incredible coach. Not going anywhere while Riley is in charge T White 1 Quote
Henryville Hoosier Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I know with Drew people think he's shady but I do like their style of offense and how scrappy their defense is. I would think players would be attracted to that style of play Quote
tortex28 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 John B. is to old, most candidates won't come, so lets go get Cheaney or Fife and be done with it. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Very few NBA guys are gonna want to fool with college Quote

Woodsonshump Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Go get the guy who took down Porkchop last night. Criteria #1, always beat Purdue. Quote

Maybe give him use of the jet whenever he needs to spend time with the kids. Quote

In no order, Beard, Musselman, and Oats. I’m really interested in the Texas Tech - Arkansas game tomorrow. I’m viewing it like I did the Dayton v. Wichita St game when we last hired. Beard and Musselman have contrasting styles. I want to see how they handle that and if one can out coach the other. ib4iu, T White, hoosierfan6157 and 2 others 5 Quote

He is outgoing but not creepy like Crean. Musselman also has NBA head coaching experience. Honestly, his style of play and background might make him the best fit for Indiana. Especially if they can go in a run this tournament to bolster his resume at the P5 level. Alford Bailey, Parakeet Jones, FWHoosier84 and 2 others 5 Quote

Hopefully, we get one of them and don’t have to go to option 5. Feathery and kottke 2 Quote
bmemmer Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I would give Billy Donavan a call and offer him the same contract you offered Steven's and make him say no. I am sure we weren't offering him that kind of money the first go around. HoosierInParadise and Happydaze 2 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I’ve said it before I really want this decision based on winning now with a vision for the game in 10 years going forward. Not on something that happened a decade ago. I think we have solid candidates in that regard. FWHoosier84 and jonz44 2 Quote
mdiu28 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Go get Beilein, build a nice foundation of winning over the next 3-4 years, Brad will get fired eventually, come crawling to IU - we tell him to shove it no massholes allowed and hire whatever IU guy Beilein puts on the bench with him. cthomas, cleeter, kottke and 4 others 4 1 2 Quote
BayernFan Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I think Dolson may go after an indiana guy and if he does it will probably be Keith Smart. The big donors will love him. Quote

Just a middle aged or younger guy that has a relatable personality, seems to have a good basketball acumen, and can recruit. That's someone with a future. I'm in my mid fifties. I'll be flexible on the definition of "middle aged" lol. pumpfake 1 Quote
