Uspshoosier Posted February 9 Posted February 9 4 minutes ago, Scotty R said: That doesn't make sense because Cronin's style is the same as the big ten brand He has made some comments this year in a press conference where he hints at the physicality of the B1G is why they have struggled. Earlier they had only won against teams they were familiar with out west and he pointed that out. Now since he called out everyone of his kids they have been rolling. thebigweave and lillurk 2

I don't know if the ones complaining about how coaches act is to young to remember how coaches use to be. Go watch clips of coaches like Rollie Masimino, Lou Carnesacca, Bob Knight, Gene Keady, Jud Heathcote to just to name a few. What we see today from coaches is tame compared to these coaches If you think Cronin is similar to any of those guys, you haven't paid much attention to Cronin.
IUHAHN81 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 So as of today we are looking like this if things keep with trends of the program... 1. Stevens 2. Cronin 3. Alford ap2345 1
Popular Post Pudman Posted February 9 Popular Post Posted February 9 (edited) This coaching search is like my divorce when I was in my early 30’s. I had to awkwardly live with my ex for 6 weeks while waiting to move into an apartment. I went out most nights and met some women, but I could never bring them home. Stay tuned as the national pundits begin to inject their opinions on who would be a great replacement just like they did in the past 2 coaching searches even though they are out in left field and like to report on what they heard at the local B-dubs! And don't forget to tune in next week as the half retired, current coach tries to throw in another wrench to the fan bases' plans! dissolves into a commercial-"Mom, do you ever get that "not so fresh" feeling? But as a practical matter, I can't see them doing that, so I doubt it would matter. Edit: But that would probably apply more to a finalized contract phase. We wouldn't be tampering just by engaging in preliminary talks, since that's just an NBA rule. From everything that has been discussed on here, I’d say that the preliminary talks have already happened. IU Prof and Chris007 2

Silat Player Posted February 9 Posted February 9 58 minutes ago, lillurk said: Agree, I think PU and Illinois are operating near their cruising altitudes, UM has a good young coach who has the goods, Izzo MSU is Izzo MSU, but the open job at the sleeping giant of a program has obvious appeal. Everyone. I repeat, everyone, in the B1G fears who IU will get in bball coaching position. Also, everyone, I repeat, everyone, knows that IU has been whiffing on filling the bbal coaching position for the last 25 years. It's quite the paradox. I'm sure a heck of a lot of coaches and fans breathed a big sigh of relief 4 years ago when Woodson was hired. Pagoda 1
