Respectfully, the IU administrators and Brad Stevens have no reason to comment on anything currently. There’s been no public update on the search. If they commented on every rumor they’d never get anything done.

hopefully Brad ends up here, but I don’t think there is anything to read from official public radio silence.

I agree with you on the IU Admin.   But I dont see Stevens in the same light.  He clearly knows there is smoke growing around his name at IU just like there was last time.  If he is not interested, then a simple statement saying nothing has changed for me and wish IU well in their coaching search.  Every day that Stevens stays silent on this gives the appearance that he is indeed listening and interested.

Maybe, but the lack of back channeling other coaches means Scott is relatively confident in the guy he's zeroed in on.

Behavioral Science says the public silence from Brad Stevens and IU administrators that there is a high probability that the next IU men’s basketball coach will be…..him.

That’s great news as I’ve never publicly stated I’ve haven’t won the Powerball

No, people started changing their tunes in the multiple circles yesterday. It was strange watching it happen in real time lol

Maybe I am just a TAD slow or something.  But you said you couldnt tell me what tweets or people you were talking about and then in your next post you say people are changing their tunes.   Help me make sense of this....

I seen a couple of people mention this, and sorry if I missed any sort of reply, but what circles are you referring to?

This is my thinking, Brad knows there are lots of rumors and chatter about him and IU, if he is an absolute NO, he would have said something by now. Just my opinion of course…..

Donor and media circles. Obviously the media isn't going to backtrack until something real happens but there are some local and national guys that heard something yesterday that made them change their tune.

I definitely agree. I do think it would be most telling if Trilly started hearing news of college coaches. I think that would be the first sign Brad might not happening. I personally think it’s a bit weird we aren’t hearing anything at all on that front given how far the search fell last time after Brad turned it down.
