One thing that did come from that is that he thinks that Dolson will hire an offensively minded coach. As long as that coach can also have his teams play at least a very good defense, I'd be happy with that. We don't need Crean 2.0 with good offense and bad defense.

I responded to his post about that with disbelief...that is insanity. I was on (a never-used benchwarmer and practice dummy) his high school team and Conley was unbelievable. The best natural ballhandler and passer/creator I have seen in the past 25 years (am I that old...yes, I guess I am, sigh). He was a no doubt awesome player and I truly cannot believe there were power conference head coaches that believed he might not be good at the next level. Then again...Mike Woodson is a head coach at IU so maybe it's not so wild.

I'm guessing who he is talking to won't be as close to our search as we are. I would say they will throw out names like TJ, Cronin, Buzz, and McDermott. I'm guessing RTZ own sources are just as good as who he calls Big Dog. Nothing to get too worked up about people

I’m just worried about this scenario and it’ll sting more than anything…..

Brad wants to coach again. Loves IU. Would love to coach IU. IU has the money, the years, the NIL budget, etc etc

BUT

His daughter doesn’t want to relocate and wants to finish high school where she calls home (and I wouldn’t blame her) and at the end of the day, Brad doesn’t come.

I think he needed to get the attention off of not having any info. But Conley could have gone to any school in the country. You know that as well as anyone. I highly doubt any coaches were saying that unless it was coach that knew he wasn't going there
