I’m starting to trust what the guy on the peegs chat was saying last night. I guess we’ll see when it’s announced but I’m trusting Dolson might have finally don’t this right.

Plus Bennett  doesn’t seem to embody “Where is college basketball going? I was getting ready to say this. I think Archie was “announced” on a Monday (I was there). Word leaked Saturday. If this is all true I expect to hear something today.

Has to be Bennett unless Brad or Billy had vast change of heart.  Not an IU guy and many if not most would hate Matta and especially Beilein.

If they know the hire, you know they would be putting out the name. Everyone wants to be first to announce so I don't buy they know the name. Maybe just they know we have someone. I believe they have been told we have a hire and it's a good one so they say homerun without truly knowing if that's the case.

Yep. Why would Kristian or some random guy from Indiana know? Scott telling the team so and so is coming seems very unlikely. Even mentioning a name to one of our players seems dangerous.

They know Mack well since he recruited him Lander.  Would be easy for him to tell Lander which told ND.  I am guessing that is who it will be. He has been out of the tourney so they could of easily been in negations. Is Mack a home run, I'd say probably.

I'd be very happy with Chris Mack.

However, I just find it hard to believe he leaves Louisville. It's been considered his dream job. His family is associated with the University and the area. Would be quite the news. I'll be okay with it!

UL may be staring down the barrel, Bloomington is close to wife's family in Louisville, and his recruiting has been severely hampered. No clue, but surely it's possible.

If the "announcement" is a press conference you would. Archie agreed on a Saturday and the press conference was like 2 days later.
