According to his Instagram, Carlyle is down to McNeese, FAU and UAB. Pretty significant drop from the B1G and former Pac-12.

I check Twitter and Instagram every now and then on Bryson Tucker -- I haven't seen one word about his recruitment since he announced for the portal. Find that kinda interesting.

I'm sure there's some news out there. I just haven't seen anything.

A guy on HSN who is a Uber driver I think who seems to hang around Assembly Hall took a picture of Bryson walking into Cook Hall with a coach.

As cerebral as BT is, I bet he is focused on finishing up the school year!  Could be wrong though.

Would be good to know if it was really a Coach from the new staff or a manager (from old regime) to help him work out.

I think I found the tweeter of this and he just said Tucker was going in to Assembly Hall and assumes he was going in to meet with the current staff. The picture is only of Tucker and he could have been going in to get a workout in, clean out his locker, get a snack or talk to the current staff.

Not sure if there's a possibility with IU (doubtful I guess) but this guy looks interesting:

Sam Alexis 6'8 240 - rising senior. Played on the Championship Gators but in a very limited role.

24 GP averaged about 12 mins and 4.7 pts, 3.5 rebs on 46.5 FG%.

In 23-24 at UT Chattanooga: 27 mins per game 10.8pts, 9.1 rebs, 2.1 blocks in 23-24, All-SoCon (3rd team) and Defensive Team. As a freshman, only played ~12 mins. Hasn't played a ton of minutes in his career but coming from a championship locker room. Looks like he could provide good rim protection and offensive rebounding - 76th percentile in put backs.

Looks like UNC / Bama and others are involved.

I watched a lot of UF hoops this past season.

Sam Alexis is not a rim protector - he's not long at all and not particularly good at anything at a P5 level. Florida had a ton of complete blow out games this year and that's where he got much of his minutes.

Langdon Hatton was a more useable big than Sam Alexis would be.

Thanks for pointing that out, guess the commentary I read was inaccurate! Lol

  • 'Did not plays' in 11 out of 22 SEC games.
  • Eight games where he played 15 or more minutes; every one of them was decided by 15 or more points (one was a 20 point loss to UTenn, the others were all non-conference blow-out UF wins).

Purely FWIW, Raby said Alexis battled ankle injuries last season.  His prior year at Chattanooga averaged 11 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 bpg averaging 26 min/game.
