Franck Kepnang was a high school teammate of Derrick Lively and I watched a number of their games.  I'm sure if you went back to Kepnang's thread you'd find comments I made along the lines of why did we offer this kid.

Almost hard to overstate how bad Archie’s staff was at talent identification. No offense to Ethan Morton, who played 5 more years of scholarship college basketball than I did, but he was putting up dud stat lines in suburban PA and Miller thought he should be priority 1

Michigan and Dusty just added Mara from UCLA. lol. I believe that gives him the #1 and #2 C in the portal.  Unreal.

Hopefully #1 and #2 centers in the portal work out better for their new team then last years #1 and #2 centers worked out for their new teams

Coaching matters.  More to the idea that Dusty is getting who he wants and getting both the top guys in the same position is a remarkable feat.   Clearly the Wolf/Goldin success is paying off immediately.  Hoping what’s his name never suits up, he’s the one that pops off the screen.  Mara is interesting to me but more of a gamble.  Not a clear top guy however that size and skill has top potential.

Does make me wonder if that means that Morez Johnson truly isn't going to get admitted to Michigan.  Wolf/Goldin could get on the floor together because of Wolf's ability to handle the ball and shoot.  Johnson and Mara on the court together would really clog it up.  I like both of them just see at best them sharing 40 minutes.

Assuming Lendeborg is filling in the Wolf role this year.

Lendeborg I would think will still have to decide if he will stay at Michigan or go into the draft.  Would think he'll go to the combine and decide from there.
