The 6’2” guard appeared in 20 games, averaging 6.9 PPG, 1.2 RPG, and 1.4 APG per game. Blackmon averaged 21.3 PPG, and shot 38% from 3 with Stetson in 2023-24. How does he have eligibility Quote

I hope we're done with this 5 or even 6 years of eligibility baloney. "Five years to play four" is enough. I think the tsunami of portal entries is about to hit. Quote

NBA sure but kinda sucks for college basketball that Purdue was Smith's first and only power conference offer and he'd leave them as a senior after all the development there. Idk maybe unpopular opinion Nah, I'm here for him leaving solely for the tears of despair that will flow from their fans. Home Jersey and Pagoda 2 Quote
Juwan Moye Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 With the rev share changes isn’t the expectation that players are making even more money moving forward? I thought someone reported Cupps was getting offered $600k as an example. If that were true then yeah, I could see Smith getting offered $5m. Quote

LOL IU isn't quite the Dodgers/Yankees NIL budget team, but at least we are probably the Red Sox/Braves NIL budget team. Purdue is quite as bad an Oakland NIL budget team, but they are probably Pittsburgh or Kansas City. And that's a problem for them. They may be able to retain Simth and Kaufman-Renn, but in doing so they are going to have very little left for Heide, Colvin, Cox, and Harris. cybergates and Hoosier DaDa 2 Quote

IU is reported to have about $10.5 million for next year; $7 million from the collective and $3.5 million from revenue sharing. If IU pays its top two players $2 million That leaves $6.5 million for 13 players That's a $500,000 average per player If Purdump has a $2 million collective for basketball and therefore a $5.5 million total basketball budget: Smith and Kaufman-Renn get $2 million each, That leaves a really tight $1.5 million budget for the other 13 players. That would come out to about a $115,000 average for the other 13 players schoosier, cybergates, thebigweave and 1 other 2 2 Quote

Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen. Quote
