Maybe UK?  Pope might have an upper classmen heavy team for the first time in Lexington in nearly 2 decades.

Yeah, they and Arkansas will look pretty different from their 2023-24 teams.  In Kentucky's case it won't be by choice.

Nick Pringle, Alabama.  6'10" center.  6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18 minutes per game.  62% from the field, truly a post player only.

Also worth mentioning he had one of the strangest shooting lines in history the previous year.  He shot....85% from the, making 50 of 59 shots while only shooting 47% from the line, making just 26 of 55 free throws.

Illinois looking like they could go into next year as the favorites.

What makes you say that?  Shannon gone, Domask gone unless he wins some long shot lawsuit to get a sixth year, Hawkins likely going into the draft, Guerrier gone, Dainja gone.....leading four scorers all gone.  Also lost a couple of potential bench pieces in Hansberry and Sinceire Harris who redshirted this year.  The current group they have coming in from the portal and from high school don't match up with what they lost.

You aren't wrong with that assessment but I would never count out Brad Underwood. I think he is currently the best coach in the Big Ten.

Mostly Brad Underwood. They have seemed to add some good pieces. So far brought in Jake Davis from Mercer who averaged 9ppg and shot 38.7% from 3 as a freshman, Tre White, Carey Booth and Kylan Boswell. If they end up landing AJ Storr, they'll go in having the best backcourt in the conference.

If Underwood can get AJ Storr and Tre White to play team basketball he is one hell of a coach.

I tend to agree.  He pretty much always gets it done.  I don’t really want him at IU but I’ve long come to respect what he does and he generally knows what it takes to win.

I think he is very good.  I would put him 4th best in the conference.

Agreed. A coach who adjusts his style to his roster, and to just plain win.

Plus he's a good interview.

I’m not sure how I’d rank guys with all the factors at play, but if you told me I had to pick a coach for a team without having any idea what the roster construction looked like, I’d take Underwood and wouldn’t even consider anyone else. That guy has won with such wildly different rosters and schemes that it’s almost tough to believe.

Michigan transfer Tarris Reed has committed to #UCONN, @247Sports has learned. 2023-24 Stats: 9.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game on nearly 52 percent shooting from the field.

How’s Dusty doing in the portal?  Got any idea?
