Stuff like this will force college sports into long overdue action. And on top of that, the guy isn't all that good of a player, so it's not like it's going to send Wade/LSU into a better place.

Dude was a Celtics draft pick and Vegas Summer League darling for two years like 3-4 years ago.

And now he’s playing in college. Don’t really even know what to think at this point. And the one who really drives me insane on this stuff is Bilas. Yeah, Madar was a 2020 Celtics draft pick. Dude was drafted 6 years ago and played in the 2021 Vegas Summer League!?!?

I would like to fill our last spot with a 27' reclass big. We seem to be digging in on a couple. Getting a high caliber reclass every year might be the best way to keep a 5☆ for multiple years.

He does not have any eligibility left.  He’s one that put his name in the portal looking to get an extra year but will not.

I’m confident the plan for kids like him is to wait out 5 in 5 and if it’s enacted they then sue for the 5th  year to be retroactive for them. I get the argument that the ‘21 kids get jobbed because they’re the 1 recent class that wouldn’t get a 5th year via either Covid or the new rules. And you know what? I don’t care. At some point you have to get this deal systematized and it’s now. And yet I’m completely confident that one of these kids will find some judge that’ll buy that argument and stay the new rules and here we go again. I assume the unfilled roster slot is in anticipation of that exact eventuality.

Ratliff was always a ‘26 and he and Darius are signed with USC. Bryant is a ‘26 signed with Mizzou. Have never heard of the 1st kid. Is he a ‘27 HS kid?
