Im amazed a 4 star recruit coached by his father has such poor shooting form. He scored driving to basket in hs but cant do that at this level. His jumper needs a total overhaul.

Thought I saw an angle on Twitter, which I of course can’t find now. Either way, it was definitely a ridiculous temper-tantrum as previously mentioned.

I will give Archie some credit. He has tried to play Leal but the kid just isnt ready for this level or ever will be. I predict Austin Etherington 2.0.

He also played Damezi Anderson a considerable amount. I continue to be amazed that Damezi played more at IU and can't find the floor at Loyola. Just backs up Goodman and Hummel's point that Archie just doesn't have enough talent.

Leal will end up playing. He's not exactly being thrown into wonderful positions. Crappy defense, crappy coach, crappy offense. But if Jordan Hulls can play enough defense, Leal can and will get there. But he will work best once he gets the confidence as a spot up shooter and running off screens. Our offense now doesn't allow either of those things to happen.

His defense is just terrible, he's always falling on the ground and getting in the way of others, has trouble blocking out without fouling and for a guy who works on his shot a lot, he doesn't hit many.

I actually expected Durham to make that shot last night. Wide open look. Seemed like a shot that would go in after struggling all night... And then he missed everything.

I picked up Loyola as my second team early this season (to fill my need to watch well coached hoops).  Unless something changed Damezi is sitting out to retain a year of eligibility.  I'm not sure how that works this season, but that's what I read early on.

I'm not sure either, but that seems odd as I thought nobody loses a year of eligibility this year. If that is accurate that does make some sense. He played in 3 games I know that and not very many minutes in any game. He definitely put in work at his time at IU, his jump shot his second year was quite different than the set shot he had from deep his freshman year. Good kid and put in the work, but IU and the Big10 was probably a bit much for him.

I hope in a close game like that assistants have more important things to be doing than babysitting a 20-year-old temper tantrum. We should have been figuring out how we were going to double-team Henry to finish the game.

Ok well the 20 year old was our best player and one of the guys trying to console him was the only guard on our team doing anything. Plus after that moment we fell apart. I didn't mean to go baby sit him maybe tell him to get his head screwed on right or get the f on the bus and wait till were finished. One or the other

Hmmmm... I could see Geronimo saying it... I'd say he could probably take everyone on the roster.

Stuhoo got it right above. I could also see him saying, but he seems too nice. I guess the worst shooter might be the toughest player or at least the most honest

I don't know him personally but Race Thompson seems like one tough ******* dude.  If he stepped up as an enforcer next year with someone else the voice I could see that providing the first stages of leadership.
