Indiana Women’s Basketball also added Sara Scalia a transfer guard who averaged 18 ppg. at Minnesota last season. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2022/4/10/womens-basketball-indiana-adds-geary-parrish-and-scalia.aspx And she is excellent at 3 pt shooting I believe Quote

94Bulldog Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Believe they get 15 scholarships on the women’s team. mamasa 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 11, 2022 Author Posted April 11, 2022 Well that was quick. Tow's reply is that women's bball can have 15 schollys. That's not a number I've seen as I've tried to independently research the question but that was his answer. Please remember, I'm just the messenger!! And I see @94Bulldog has also cited 15 as the limit. Quote

TTT Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Got to Rebound the basketball. That will work for most competition. Should have a couple really good players coming off the bench… Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Yarden Garzon is supposed to be really good as well. We aren’t hyper athletic and that could be a problem against the top teams, but this roster seems incredible. Also, seems like a roster where 3-4 will want more spin eventually. jk34 Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 This might be the best quality depth Teri has had! Can't wait to see this team come together, and by post season, be really good. Quote
TheWatShot Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Crazy to think a couple months ago, we were concerned about how bad we'd be next season, and now we might start in the top 10. thebigweave, triple, Joe_hoopsier and 2 others 5 Quote

TTT Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 With addressing shooting issues especially mid and longer range (including free throws with Scalia) IU Ladies should feel much better and much more confident after working so hard on passing, screening and cutting etc on offense and other aspects of game including defense when they see more shots going down translates into a more potent versatile scoring machine.
