Hillsdale87 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 The warning signs were there when we kept squeaking by bad/mediocre teams. I want Archie to succeed as much as anyone, but this team clearly isn't well-coached.Yep. The Marquette game was great, and everything since has been downhill. We had some good wins, but they were all squeaked out. There's something to be said for winning close games, but those usually even out, and that's been happening. I want Archie to succeed too, but I'm not confident. I see no reason to think he's an improvement on Crean at this pointSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
IUHoosier5 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 What’s sad is this game could be entirely different if we hit FTs [emoji4]Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners FloridaHoosierGirl, ellen.walden and Ranger78 3 Quote
pumpfake Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 I put crappy FT shooting squarely on the players. Same goes for intensity and pride. ellen.walden, theriverpilot, colonel06 and 1 other 4 Quote

IUHoosier5 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 McRoberts is ON FIRE. Let’s get him to 25 minutes a game!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Doubt that you’ll get hammered, but I do disagree. Soft kids don’t keep taking the ball to the rim when they’re getting beat up when they get there. Soft kids don’t take over in the 2nd half of road games like he did at Maryland. Kid’s having a bad game and he’s clearly frustrated. Doesn’t mean he’s soft. Really good players have really bad games. It happens. Quote

Hovadipo Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 This is still infinitely less embarrassing than getting hammered by Tim Twitter Fingers Miles at home. ElectricBoogaloo and DLG3 2 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Soon to be 4-8 in conference if we are lucky Quote
JSHoosier Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Maybe McRoberts needs to be inside the arc when if he shoots? Quote

IUHoosier5 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 At this rate, I’d be amazed if we made the tournament. How quickly some things change. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Bailey7878 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Four of the next five on the rad. That is probably the final nail of any fading ncaa chances. This is just pathetic. No fight. No emotion. Suspect coaching.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote
DChoosier Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Never threatened them in the second half. At some point FS1 is going to regret showing our games. Three blowouts. Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 How come all these other schools are getting legit play out of kids ranked in the 200s and Damezi looks confused as all hell IUHoosier5, A.j. Nigh, colonel06 and 3 others 6 Quote
IUHoosier5 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 To recap:-another slow start-never saw a sign of a cohesive offensive plan-horrible FT shooting (again)-no energy-no fight-more head-scratching lineups/substitutionsIt’s sad. What is happening to iubb?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners tortex28 1 Quote
ElectricBoogaloo Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Offense is completey broken. Now way we should be getting blown out when the opponent scores 70 points. Quote
