I know Moore make some mistakes on defense but I think with more time he can iron those out. Having a guy with his length and mobility at 6’10” could really help us In the post. I think in the long run he could really improve his defensive awareness.

I want to agree with you; but part of me thinks you don’t “learn” defense in games. If Archie is watching him defend an offense he knows in practice and still seeing him not be able to get in position, I’m thinking he doesn’t want to take the chance of him in games against live competition. Too much of a liability.

I tend to agree with you mostly. It’s when the guys who “earned” the minutes in practice and aren’t performing in game then it’s time to bring Moore in and see what he can provide. That stretch he gave us in the Penn State was big and he gave us very solid minutes tonight.
