HoosierDYT Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 To be fair, in the scheme they're all just one game. We don't have an easy stretch coming up, so I'd say this is as 'must win' as it gets.Ah yes that’s what I was tying to say haha Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Romeo is not a OAD. He does not look remotely like one sorry just reality Dhop 1 Quote
LIHoosier Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 20 minutes of bad basketball and its a tie game? Another thing I've posted at halftime in about every game. hoosierdogg, HoosierDYT, FloridaHoosierGirl and 1 other 4 Quote
HoosierDYT Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Hey look! We’re tied! We adjusted and they cooled down. I’d say we’re in a good position considering we played pretty poorly and they played pretty well and we’re tied at half. FloridaHoosierGirl Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Lucky to be tied. Hopefully they can come out at the half and play like they did at the end. Quote

HoosierDYT Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Romeo is not a OAD. He does not look remotely like one sorry just realityHis ball handling is much worse than I thought. With that being said, I see no scenario where doesn’t go top 15. Great size, great finishing, great feel for the game, and I think shooting will follow. He does not look remotely like one sorry just reality I actually agree with this, but it’s not a popular opinion to have. Love him as a player and what he does for IU, but he is not ready. He’ll get drafted top 10 and that’s great. His longevity in the league is the thing I’m worried about. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

His shooting is just so bad maybe the NBA of the 90s but not now. Guards have to be able to hit 3s. And being bad at FTs doesn’t help any Quote

hoosierpap Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Zach Osterman @ZachOsterman Atlanta Hawks GM Travis Schlenk, who attended IU-Louisville last month, is here tonight. #iubb Mentioned earlier the Hawks are in on Romeo. cthomas Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Given our ongoing injury problem and our lack of a fluid offense, if we don't play stifling defense, we are in deep trouble. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 4, 2019 Author Posted January 4, 2019 Fool that I am, I really thought tonight would be a breakout night and we'd come out firing on all cylinders. Of course, I also thought we'd have Rob back running the point. Happy we managed to tie it up, but still very much worried. Illinois thinks they can win this game and aren't going to go quietly away.
