IU wanting it's fans to show some class was never going to have any impact on what MSU was or wasn't going to do. mdn82, Hoosierfan2017 and thebigweave 3 Quote

IU didn't do anything "crappy", the situation has nothing to do with IU. There was no reason to get involved. It would only have looked bad on the university if students had chanted things. A bunch of drunk 18-22 year olds are likely to chant something inappropriate. So, IU did the smart thing and stopped it before it started. Quote

Shame IU had to get involved. All to protect wee baby izzo Quote

Had the students chanted at him then IU becomes the story instead of Michigan State. We have nothing to do with him or how Michigan State has handled his situation. Saying otherwise is absurd. thebigweave, LIHoosier and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 3 Quote

It’s the whole “my one vote doesn’t matter” scenario. If you look at things in that manner then very little gets accomplished. Everyone does their part, it draws more attention and pressure for something to be done. If all are quiet it makes ignoring or sweeping under the rug easier which is essentially what had happened.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ElectricBoogaloo and Iugradman 2 Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 The NCAA disgusts me when it comes to this and clearly nothing is going to change so much for wishful thinking that they might actually get something right. Quote
