This team is unwatchable right now.  There is no heart, no passion, everything is either late or deliberate; they have no idea what toughness means; we look tentative far more often than aggressive; we frequently seem unprepared; we frequently seem lost; the ball stagnates, we don't do well getting to the FT line, we have become a more selfish team, and we have no leadership.   

This group of seniors may be the worst I have seen come through Indiana in a long time; and McSwain just had another shot blocked.  For as big and strong as he is, I have never seen a player get his shot blocked as much as he does.   He is a bad basketball player.

I am becoming more and more frustrated the more I watch.  I am not seeing improvement and getting better; and I see huge red flags as it relates to the coaching staff.   Wisconsin had one kid we couldn't let beat us....and he beat us.    Kid had 28 points, 9 rebounds (6 offensive), 4 steals, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and shot more FT's than our team did.    We look like we have no idea what to do on offense.  We look like we're thinking.  Defensively, we get out of position way too frequently, and we don't really take anything away.

We have the worst overall record of any team in the Big Ten.  I wonder if our seniors have any pride at all.  If so, we should see a completely different effort this weekend.  If not; this season's over.  This game looked very much like a group of players who have been worn out and had no interest in being there.

Oh....and if McRoberts is going to start?  And play 28 minutes?    Zach...feel free to score even a single point.  Feel free to get more than 2 rebounds.   His biggest number on the stat sheet?  3.  He had 3 fouls.  A pathetic effort by him.  Indiana cannot win with a starter putting up a bagel with 1 shot, 2 rebounds, no assists, no steals, and zero productivity.   Flat assed awful.  Same with Green.  Awful.  Sloppy.  Selfish.  Undisciplined.  This is not the playground.

The sad thing is two of the three are really off the bench guys. We have one legit big ten starter and the rest are either role players or guys who could be starters but just don't care enough to be.

These guys were not recruited to do anything Archie is wanting them to do. They were recruited to run up and down the floor as fast as they can with no reguard for protecting the ball or for playing any type of defense..he may never reach this team.

I got to listen to Fort Wayne coach on radio on my -10 degree drive home tonight talking about how shocked even he was about blasting IU at home. It's unheard of. This team is historically bad. 2 of the top 5 worst losses in Assembly Hall history.

McRoberts played 28 minutes tonight.  He took one shot, which he missed.  Had 2 rebounds.  And nothing else.  You want to watch that???   He's a walk on for a reason.

Newkirk - BUM. This is a game where senior guards dominate. Newkirk couldn’t dominate a Caesar salad. Speaking of senior guards...

Johnson - BUM. Maybe the most talented player on the team but is not interested in playing basketball. I don’t know what he’s interested in. Maybe anime cartoons, but not basketball.

Green = playground player

Johnson = officially mailed it. he just doesn't seem to care plain and simple

Davis = good if the court was about half the size. game is still way too fast for him and that's sad considering all we heard about in offseason was how well conditioned he was. 

Moore = is he a project? I am sorry but what do we have to lose by not playing him a little. McSwain sucks.

In Archie's defense, not a single player on this team is his. Clappy recruited them all. The three freshman were also Crean's, and Archie did the honorable thing by honoring the university's commitment to them... but clearly, they are "Crean caliber" players... and even though FCTC is gone, this is still his team... 

Arch needs to figure out how to make these guys play basketball as a team... a bit of synergy is sorely needed, because none of these guys, save maybe Morgan, by themselves even belong on a B1G team.

I don’t blame this all on Archie but I also reject the excuse that these aren’t “his” guys. Coaches come in all the time and have success year 1, or if not success at least not a dumpster fire. Holtmann at Ohio State inherited a worse roster from Matta and has that team playing well and winning games.

This is why I don't think I will be shocked if under Archie we don't land a TON of 5* kids.  Most(NOT all) are there to show off their personal talents for the next level.  I see Archie liking the 4 yr kids that are blue collar, tough, gritty, get it done by whatever means necessary type kids. Kids that mirror his personality.  Kids that don't need to score 20+ a game but rather kids that are totally fine just getting the win in the end regardless of their stats.  I think the team has to resemble the coach to be as successful as we all want us to be.  Just my take.

Debatable about who inherited the worse roster. A healthy Bates-Diop is playing like the top 30 player he was suppose to be. Best thing that program did was addition by subtraction and telling Lyle not to come back. New coaches also come in all the time and don’t have success right away in year 1. Plenty of examples of coaches being successful and also not being successful
