Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app I’d expect Al to be the starting PG next yet. Get Romeo and the backcourt is looking solid to me. The front court is already solid. Deron needs to hit FT’s. With Romeo we are a NCAA team easily, IMO. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Last year's team was no fun and neither is this one. It's painful to watch.Sent from my SM-J700T using TapatalkI genuinely wonder what our recruiting class would look like with Crean still here. I think we would have had Mark Smith on this team. I think we would have had Musa Jallow. I honestly don't know where we would have ended up. It would have been interesting to know. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Josh 1 Quote

You have to be able to hit something from 3 to have a chance. Quote
Old Friend Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Our seniors are sometimes just Godawful. Johnson is an offensive liability right now. Make a shot. Any shot. When we need a bucket, who do we turn to, now? Not him. And it needs to be him. Our offense is bad sometimes. Quote

KYHoosier Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I think Al Durham will be a good player for us and has been a pleasant surprise this season but I just don't think he is ready to be the primary ball handler yet like some of you want (which would be a lot to ask of him). I know DeVonte can be a complete mess with the ball at times, but dang I think he needs more minutes. He is a good ball handler, excellent at getting the ball into the post, and is probably the best (streaky, I know) shooter on the team. He provides offense at the guard position. I wish he could just be smarter out there and play within the flow of the game. We really have no offense outside of Juwan and De'Ron. HoosierDYT and Josh 2 Quote

dbmhoosier Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I really don't know what everyone was expecting. Louisville was preseason top 15. We were preseason top 60. It was on the road against a much more talented team. We lost by single digits and were in it most of the game. If it's at a neutral site it goes to the wire. At home we win. Popular Post Ajwhitis Posted December 9, 2017 Popular Post Posted December 9, 2017 It's amazing how everyone hops off the ledge after any game or any performance. We lost to a talented, long, Louisville team by a small margin on the road. Yes, we could have won the game without a doubt and wasted opportunities killed us, but let's take a breath and understand that we went head to head and played a tough team close. Defensively this team was solid today, and it seems to get better every game. I still think this team will be pretty solid come February or March. This fan base is something else sometimes, I swear to god. HoosierDYT, ALASKA HOOSIER, mdn82 and 6 others 9 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 The cheaters won today—but they are still the losers in my book. I am OK with the slow build as we are not that far off from where we need to be. I still think this team will look different when Regular Big Ten season rolls around and even better when post-season time begins. At the same time, everyone also understands this isn't on Archie. It is just hte hand he was dealt. It will be a season of highs and lows. If folks don't have that expectation then they are clueless. Old Friend Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Are some of you truly too soft and doughy that you can't read a postgame chat board with fans who are frustrated with a team that has played this poorly two of the last 3 games? With seniors who disappear and don't make plays this team needs to win? Do you really think people are jumping off a ledge? You really think the Indiana fan base is clueless? Fellas....take a good hard look at yourselves, at history, at expectations (and I don't mean results); and understand where you are. And capitalize God while you're at it.
