Jam Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I wonder if Marvin Bagley sitting out the last 4 games for a “minor” knee injury is part of this. Always thought it a bit curious that a guy can skip his last year of high school and is admitted to a prestigious academic institution in late summer.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners WayneFleekHoosier, Josh, Btownclouds and 1 other 4 Quote

I mean what are we the Dollar General of corruption? How much did McRoberts get under the table? What is the going rate for a +100 ranked player like OG? What kind of car is Al Durham driving? Sheesh, if you cheat and JBJ and Thomas Bryant are the best you can do.....I don't even know what to say. I want the hammer to fall. Kentucky, UNC and Duke are on my most wanted list. Syracuse and Kansas are close behind. D-bags make me sick. In hindsight paying for Bryant and JBJ sounds like a terrible idea, but at the time they were both McDonald's all Americans. I wouldn't be surprised if all the guys who make that team each year are getting paid. Quote

Some of the schools sure, but Virginia and Wichita St will fall into this too? Not due to recruitment but players making bad choices. No Indiana players listed on that list though.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app thebigweave, Btownclouds, CR3AMnCR1MS0N and 2 others 5 Quote

While still against the rules for the players, it seemed more about the agency’s trying to bribe college players to sign with them, as opposed to real recruiting violations by schools and coaches, or players being swayed to certain schools. Yea but I don’t think they released the big stuff yet. This article was just an appetizer to confirm some big names and some legit charges. Agents are more just worried about which players they can sign. RealIU 1 Quote

I don’t know.. there aren’t many details but towards the end of the article it name Izzo, and the Villanova coaches by name.. that’s pretty big news. On top of the specific players it lists by name. I’m sure that relates to his NBA career but really have no idea what the NCAA ‘statue of limitations’ is on something like this. Quote

But yes, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The real meat in all of this will be what comes from the shoe companies. Quote

KB0 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 If that is the totality of everything they have found.....then it's not much. I assume there are documents that Yahoo doesn't have access too with more damning information. For the most part, it looks like it will all be falling on the players. Only coaches mentioned are "Villanova coaches" and Izzo. BGleas 1 Quote

Quite a conundrum for the NCAA - act on the incontrovertible and partially blow up the sport, or give every cheating program a mulligan. Iugradman and thebigweave 2 Quote

If it was just the NCAA, I would have to say the mulligan would be what would happen. I think it all depends on how involved the FBI wanted to be.
