(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

He is a kid hope he learns from his ignorance and hope he reserves a stern talking to and a apology letter to the offended. Probably caught in the moment and made a poor choice which he hopefully learns from

I've watched him several times and he's a different type of breed...he has great handles and vision for a big man. His game is very similar to Domantis Sabonis. He's gonna be a very special player and I think he'll stay 2-3 years at least.

Not to be argumentative, but “very special player” and staying more than one year are usually mutually exclusive. Excited we have him, but I will only expect and hope for one year - want him to get the league! Anything after that is a pleasant surprise for the fans!

Wow this story really turned into something.  FWIW I was there and never knew anything of epilepsy or the faked seizure at the time. Agree with everyone, deplorable behavior.

Wasn't Cody a special player and he stayed 2 years? TJD has gotten exponentially better each year and his ceiling is super high, but the only thing that's holding him back from being a one and done is his strength. This offseason he has gotten much stronger but I think 2 years in great program will do wonders for him. I would be very surprised if he was one and done and it's not because the talent isn't there but someone of his size is gonna have to bang with the big boys in the NBA. I mean special as in he will come in and be a huge difference maker and could be our best player...we could have 1a, 1b, 1c "best players" next year if Romeo stays which is what I've been told is how Keion and TJD were recruited to IU.

Hunter (hopefully) healthy and back to full potential

TJD

We probably end up playing starting and playing 2 of Durham, Rob, Green though but I like the longer lineups.  Guards aren't really our strength.

I don’t get the feeling Archie’s done even if/when KB commits. We still have additional very talented targets.

Honestly Harlond Beverly is probably the only one that IU actually has a shot at. Stewart dropped IU a couple weeks ago. It’s been a long while since Watford was an option. Always was going to be a battle to get him out of the south. I know some said he was visiting next Saturday but the rivals update I saw said he had no plans for anymore visits this year.

Hurt just went on his first official and he has other officials set for Kansas, duke and North Carolina. He said Memphis and Nova were the two up for the last official and Minny gets an unofficial

Honestly if everything pans out like we hope I think we'll see this starting 5:
Rob
Romeo
Brooks
TJD
Hunter if healthy or Forrester

Forrester will be improved and he's gonna be a high energy guy who we'll just need to rebound and play D with that lineup. His athleticism will make him a viable option with that group as opposed to Davis.
Al, Smith, Green, Race, Forrester/Hunter, Franklin off the bench. I really expect Moore to transfer after this year. I think he's wasting his time here and could go play major minutes at a mid major.
