The Raiders, ranked No. 10 in Class AAA, made it close in the second half, but JM held on. Matthew Hurt scored 18 of his game-high 32 points in the second half for JM. Hurt also had 12 rebounds. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Austin, ranked No. 2 in the state in Class AAA, made a big statement on Saturday night as they vanquished John Marshall, ranked No. 10 in Class AAAA, with an 80-64 victory before a sellout crowd of 1,300 fans at Austin High School. The teams meet again on March 2. Austin started the game on an 11-2 run. JM battled back behind 6-foot-9 junior forward Matthew Hurt to get back in the game.
