This is sort of related to Archie's press tour but I have noticed he is not bringing up god or his religious beliefs like Crean always did in his time here during any of these interview. Does anyone know if Archie is not a religious person or if he just keeps it out the public eye unlike Crean? I find this contrast fascinating between the two.

I googled this and cannot find any hits on Archie being religious unlike Crean where if you type in about his religious beliefs its all over the place.

Funny you should mention it!

The Millers; Archie, Morgan, and Leah, are fervent practitioners of Jediism. They are very discreet in their practice, but are fully devoted in every way.

Ha ha ha. So far we have heard his religion is Basketball and Star Wars. I love it. Anybody have a serious answer to this. With that said I love the Jokes!

Call me crazy, but now that everything is over with and I've had a chance to step back and look at everything, I honestly think we got the BEST coach out there (minus only Stevens). Archie has 13 years on Billy, I think his age is really going to resonate with players for awhile and by the time he's Donovan's current age I really see the potential that he will have solidified himself as one of the Best coaches in the nation the players want to play for ala Coach K and Roy and Those guys presently.

Archie just seems to get it. Every single person that knows him speaks of his basketball IQ. I am super excited for IU Basketball's future. I understand things are not going to be 100% perfect right from the get go, but I have a really good feeling about this and that's something I haven't been able to say maybe ever in my IU lifetime. Several days have now passed since the announcement and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by all the positive press coverage of Archie. I thought there would be more "IU had to settle" articles but it turns out Archie is even better liked and respected by coaches and basketball talking heads than I thought. Heck--even Knight had a positive comment which is difficult for him when it comes to anything IU. Looks like we got a good ball coach---now comes the harder part--winning consistently and winning big. I believe we will....
