Ajwhitis Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Rob hasn't officially said he's returning. Everyone puts validity into the fact that these guys are practicing with the team, but in reality, they can practice with them for as long as they're enrolled in school there or until they decide on signing an agent and leaving. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I'm glad you posted this. It's not like CAM is going to boot the guys out of the gym if they don't announce they are sticking around. It's in everybody's best interest for him to coach them and help them improve. Hopefully, that means they will stick around, but it's not a sure thing. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
coonhounds Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Archie did say he dont see losing anybody outside of the three nba prospects and potentially the three recruits so i am assuming rojo is planning to be back Sent from my SM-G920V using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app He was the lead recruiter for Romeo at UCLA so he does have a relationship with him. I think Romeo's recruitment is wide open at the moment. Archie told him he is our main priority and that the ENTIRE coaching staff would be at all his AAU games this offseason. That according to the Indy Star article on Romeo this last week. Yeah he might only be in college a year but might as well learn while at school. Hopefully some Sanctions come down on Hooker U to help us ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Hopefully some Sanctions come down on Hooker U to help us Even in that one year he can get a good jumpstart on his degree and continue to work on it while making millions. I hope so too, it'll help our chances and I can't talk crap to my UofL fan brother. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Popular Post ramadden13 Posted April 10, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) Jeff Goodman tweets that OG will declare and sign with an agent. I personally think it's the right move for OG. He already has a serious injury and another could kill his draft stock. And he's still a projected mid 1st rounder. Best of luck OG! Can't wait to follow your NBA career! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited April 10, 2017 by ramadden13 HoosierHoops1, Napleshoosier, lillurk and 17 others 20 Quote

Popular Post Stuhoo Posted April 10, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2017 Yeah...due to still being in the injury recovery process, OG can't "test the waters" by declaring without an agent, working out at the camps, and then deciding based on feedback. So, it seems like he had an all-or-nothing-decision. __________________________________________________________________________________ Forwards for next year: TB, DeRon, Collin, Juwan, Freddie, maybe Justin Smith and/or Clifton Moore, and Timmy P. That = lots of talent and lots of options. lillurk, VO5, pumpfake and 5 others 8 Quote
HoosiersLoveBanners Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 I'm going to root for OG but I wouldn't touch him in the first round. Not this year. No footwork at all. He will not create the separation needed at the NBA level. Travel MACHINE before he got hurt. He needed to come back and play to develop and not just go ride pine. He will only rebound and dunk at the next level. Can't create his own shot yet. Just my .02 Milldawg12, pumpfake, coonhounds and 1 other 4 Quote
