Was the video bigs only, or at least guys who will fulfill the bigs positions. That might be why you saw literally no guards. Also Al Durham liked the video. Not that it means anything, just an observation.

Yeah it looks like it was just the bigs. I saw it first on Instagram and they didn't say anything about who was practicing but the Facebook post said it was a bigs workout. I think Durham stays. He's not going to get any better offers than us in all likelihood and he always seemed like he really liked IU.

It's not up to Durham at this point

My guess is Al still wants to come to IU tbh. He needs a spot to open up though. And actually I get the feeling he needs 3 spots to open up which I am not sure happens.

Al wouldn't need any spots to open up if he wanted to come. His signed LOI guarantees his spot on the team if he chose to come. Someone on the current roster would have to go

Honestly IDC how much this may make people question me, but I expect a big year from Freddie McSwain. How much he improved this year at the end and that video they posted he even has a floater he is working on. He has no hope of a consistent 3 game, but he could definitely fill a stronger, better defender type of Troy Williams role. Not that he is better or anything just saying the role Troy played in our offense. Archie's offense is designed for guys like him to over achieve and he is hungry. You can see it. I will be the first on the band wagon.

Priller has had his "15 minutes"... obviously good kid, great attitude; but we need players who will actually contribute on a consistent basis, not just be a human victory cigar.

time to be a big boy program again...

Guy #13 on the roster is almost never going to get any playing time regardless of who it is though, #14 if you want to count McRoberts. I don't see a reason to send a good kid packing just so someone else can come and take his seat on the bench. He only has one year left anyway. If anyone has to go I'd rather it be Gelon because he's here for 3 more years. Ideally I'd like us to avoid starting out the new regime with Spring Creaning.

I can't see any way that Freddie plays the same kind of role as Troy did, they have completely different games. He's big and strong though so I think he could do some damage banging in the post for 15-20 minutes a night.

If everyone besides OG comes back and we keep Justin Smith, I don't expect McSwain to play honestly. Only time I could see it is if both bigs are in foul trouble

I think it depends on how his offseason goes. He didn't get to campus until the start of the fall semester last year so he missed out on the summer workouts. He has nice athleticism, now we wait and see if he can get some basketball ability to match it.
