Brass Cannon Posted April 5, 2017 Author Posted April 5, 2017 My guess is Al still wants to come to IU tbh. He needs a spot to open up though. And actually I get the feeling he needs 3 spots to open up which I am not sure happens. WayneFleekHoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

That might be why you saw literally no guards. Also Al Durham liked the video. Not that it means anything, just an observation. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Yeah it looks like it was just the bigs. I saw it first on Instagram and they didn't say anything about who was practicing but the Facebook post said it was a bigs workout. I think Durham stays. He's not going to get any better offers than us in all likelihood and he always seemed like he really liked IU. Ajwhitis, Hoosier Roots, Stromboli and 1 other 4 Quote

Honestly IDC how much this may make people question me, but I expect a big year from Freddie McSwain. How much he improved this year at the end and that video they posted he even has a floater he is working on. He has no hope of a consistent 3 game, but he could definitely fill a stronger, better defender type of Troy Williams role. Not that he is better or anything just saying the role Troy played in our offense. Archie's offense is designed for guys like him to over achieve and he is hungry. You can see it. I will be the first on the band wagon. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Bobman1, pumpfake, Kepner and 2 others 5 Quote

I don't see a reason to send a good kid packing just so someone else can come and take his seat on the bench. He only has one year left anyway. If anyone has to go I'd rather it be Gelon because he's here for 3 more years. Ideally I'd like us to avoid starting out the new regime with Spring Creaning. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile appI can't see any way that Freddie plays the same kind of role as Troy did, they have completely different games. He didn't get to campus until the start of the fall semester last year so he missed out on the summer workouts. He has nice athleticism, now we wait and see if he can get some basketball ability to match it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app VO5 1 Quote
