By your logic if he was such a good coach like you say so we wouldn't have lost the games we did to the teams we did nor get killed by Purdue. Mike Davis beat Tom Izzo, Rick Pitino and Coach K in the same year. Is he as bad as we say? Yes. We've played better lately and I'm glad about that, but it doesn't change my opinion of Crean. Quote

I knew all of the teams issues weren't all Crean, because the team just wasn't clicking. The past two games seem to prove that they are clicking right now. Anymore than the year up till then had made me think it was time to fire him. I'm just not willing to put all of that on a small sample size. As well as when the other side gives absolutes such as, "I guarantee you he will not win a title". Really? How can one guarantee anything? Mike Davis was 40 minutes from winning one. If people would just remember that everyone here is an IU fan. Just because they don't hold the same opinion does not make them less of an IU fan. Some have higher expectations, and some feel continuity is the only way to get to those expectations.
