Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 He was saying Holtman earlier in the year. Something along the lines of IU ending up with a Butler coach, just not the big fish. He may be major media but he is so once source I dont believe knows anything. He makes his own assumptions. If it the Oklahoma State job he would probably know everything but I think he is just pushing buttons now. He said his first call was Marshall then Sean and Archie lol. No offense to Marshall but no way Sean isnt ahead of him.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Popular Post thehelgo Posted March 6, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 6, 2017 I guess I may be one of the few that would be ok with Alford. Finally bridges the gap with Knight era, and he would/could recruit the crap out of the state of Indiana. Still young enough to be a long term success as well. Edit, I realize that this is my first post - I just found this site after being a Peegs board guy for a long time. No, I am not Steve trying to drum up support..... HooHooHoo22 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Maybe UCLA makes the final four this year. I wouldn't be upset with Alford but I really don't know. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Whoozhers Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I really think everyone is focused on the wrong thing. We should be focusing on finding a fat lady getting ready to sing. You know it won't be complete until she does.....Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Michael Grady is asking Hoosier Nation who we want us our coach. This morning has been glorious. No offense to anyone on here but until the Janitor said something I was skeptical and now I am positive he is gone. Crean was even happy in his presser today. I honestly think it was a weight off his shoulders to have that bottled up. Probably hurt our play the last month too. Not saying we would have played any better but honestly an extra game or two and a win against Iowa we were probably in smh. I expect a formal announcement very soon. Glass isn't gonna let the NATIONAL media on top of us talk about our next coach when we still have one. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

The nostalgia would be nice and I think he would recruit the state well but his record isn't stellar. IU can and should do better.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BtownBanners mobile app A.j. His shtick is made up entirely of him pushing his opinion as absolute truth. He's OK State's version of Dan Dakich..... he played college ball, so he thinks he knows more than any of us fans. Total dickweed. Alford to Indiana has the same odds of Brad Stevens to Indiana. Kepner, Yogi's Picnic Basket, mark1981 and 3 others 6 Quote
