I know people seem not to mention him because of his comfort level in Philly, but I would absolutely love Jay Wright. Nova is a private school so it is hard for him to make big money and he is losing 3 huge seniors this year. He makes 2.43 million dollars. We could offer him 5 million and it would be double his salary and more money towards suits lol. Seriously though I know it isn't a name people think would happen but if we think we can get Billy Donovan why not him if Billy says no?

I know he passed on UK and Texas but Texas isn't IU. UK bothers me but they were a mess when they wanted him so and the allure of UK rubs some coaches the wrong way and he seems like one of them.

If the back channels are working correctly they should be looking at Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan. If you can't get either of these then you should be contacting Scott Drew at Baylor. I don't see us having a shot at Jay Wright. Anyone beyond that is a lateral move.

Your mission, which you have no choice but to accept, is to convince any redneck fan base in the SEC that they do in fact want Crean as coach.  Ideally pick a fan base that truly doesn’t care about basketball, not difficult in that conference, and if they ask questions lie to the ends of the Earth; "he's a great defensive coach", "his teams place a high value on each possession", "he always takes responsibility for problems and resolves them" are all acceptable and even encouraged.

Try not to use words like "responsibility", "possessions", or "resolves". They'll never understand those words. Try to dumb it down.
