I doubt that Rojo would leave and want to sit out a year, unless he is graduating and do the grad transfer thing.  So he will most likely be back and starting next year.

I will gladly take that for a rebuild and who knows maybe we keep Smith and get a stud or two. Firing open up recruitments

Bennett is still my top choice.  I really like his temperament, and I feel like I am getting an education with every press conference.  He has already been successful at every level and has competed as the coach of schools with little basketball tradition against some of the historically best programs in the country.  Imagine what he could do at a school with Indiana's pedigree.  He already recruits the state well and he develops players for the college game.

 BD would be my second choice.  I love the confidence and bravado that he would bring to the table.  Day one he could walk in, reestablish the UK rivalry on his own terms, and start rolling the Big Ten.  The idea of having a coach (like a Jim Harbaugh) who has the credibility to act the part of being the man in charge would be exciting.

After that, I will give pretty much anyone the benefit of the doubt.  I do like Marshall over guys like Archie, Collins, Hillman, etc.

Mdn, didn't realize you were checking flights. You should be forgiven for your comments.

Anyone thinking Crean returns to IU is either ignoring what is really going on or are way too pessimistic.

Crean. Is. Gone. Book it! Announcement isn't that far away.

I wouldn't be shocked if something gets worked out with Billy D.

Yep. That's exactly why I posted this. We won the big ten championship last year because we had the easiest schedule by far. Yes our team was talented, but I'm not sure we win last year with a tougher schedule.

I remember when IU's "off years" were a nine seed. Sounds like changes are coming and it's more of a when not if sorta thing.

How are we going to entertain ourselves until Thursday?

I'm very skeptical about the Mizzou guy claiming Glass was at the MVC tourney (to presumably meet with Marshall).  I can't imagine there's any way an AD would publicly be watching or meeting with an employed coach.  I mean, the AD for WSU wouldn't be real happy if that were to occur and I don't see Glass betraying such a professional courtesy.  I also wouldn't think WSU would grant permission for their coach to be contacted by a potential suitor before the season is over.  JMO.

If CTC canceled his trip to watch a recruit, it certainly could be because he needed to go somewhere else (via jet, hint hint).  At least I hope so.
