TOM CREAN FIRED

Recommended Posts

I have a serious question... as NFL free agency date (March 9) approaches, we read of players who are being notified that they will be released on March 9 - the date that free agency starts for the current season year. Would it be possible/how likely would it be that Fred Glass tells Crean that he will be fired on July 1, the date that his buyout clause drops from $4M to $1M, and then pursue his replacement immediately?

Its been posted before. The buyout doesn't matter. Crean gets a new gig and that buyout is almost nothing; perhaps nothing at all. If/when Crean is gone, it will be the morning after the team's season is over. Rumors of our new coach will be about and will be officially announced after his season's over, wherever that school/team plays.

Imo if there is a disconnect between coaching staff and certain players but Priller is listening he better start against ohio st. Crean should have used Priller earlier this season to send a message to bryant and others. This is why crean struggles he locks on to certain players and gives them to much free run without utilizing his bench to send a message

Tim Priller just about saved our season.  Fire Tom Crean.

So how bout this...

Tom Crean gets fired sometime before the BTT. Highly unlikely but could happen. Tim Buckley takes over. IU wins it's first BTT. Makes it to the sweet 16. Tim Buckley is now the head coach of the Hoosiers. Mythical but theoretically plausible LOL

Ehhh.. lets not.

Glass has to be hearing it from the donors. The donors want the prime time coach.

The only thing worse would be waking up to a Crean extension tomorrow AM
