I just refuse to relegate college basketball to being a one month sport and march only matters. I have too many friends who are casual fans and will call me around march to see who is who in basketball for the year ( or they pay entry fees for brackets and I give my picks and then split the winnings). I love the grind of a basketball season and refuse to believe that if u run into a bad matchup in the tournament your a failure. Virginia and Bennett won back to back titles in the ACC and a ACC tourney title against 4 other hall of famers. In my opinion that is not underachieving. Anything can happen in a single elimination tournament. That what makes the NCAA tournament the best sporting event on the planet.
