Only a few months?  Over 9 years he hasn't held many players accountable.

Oh I was just talking about this year's team lol. He's definitely been a failure at holding players accountable during his entire tenure. Slaps on the wrists for DUIs, players failing multiple drug tests, no discipline for poor play. It's been a joke. Thankfully it should be ending very soon

That pic of RJ perfectly represents his (and of course the team's) play over the last how-many-ever games. Totally checked out. Can't shoot. D has tanked. He's ready to be done.

Yep! RJ with the exception of I think the Iowa game is averaging like 5.5 pts a game in the last 10. I didn't sit down and actually do the numbers fellas so I may be off a bit. But, I feel I'm close

Someone asked what's wrong with Rojo.. there ya have it. He's also on the tank train. He has checked out like the rest of us.

Also, Crean ripping Bryant a new one was entertaining. Not really even sure where he actually fouled on that last one. I need Bryant to act a little bit like Zeller in the "stoic one" manner. Just a few dash's will do

Last 6 games(since Purdon't at home) he's averaging 6.8 pts/game. Without the Iowa game its 4.4 pts/game. Before that stretch, he was averaging 15.5 pts/game in B1G play, every game in double digits.

Just watched the player interviews after the game with JN and MSB. Reporters had several baited questions for JN, but boy JN looked like someone just killed his new puppy, like John Wick style. I really feel bad for these guys, if they practice as hard as everyone says and want to win. But the questions to JN about turnovers and his response tells me that there really isn't much going on in the world of making the players more aware of how to protect the basketball. JN's response was we just have to get more fundamentally sound! Not the type of response that would indicate that practice is helping or that help is even being provided in that area or maybe they have just checked out like everyone is saying! Not sure, but one thing is for certain, I don't see a chance for improvement until a change is made!

My thought coming to work this morning was that we have no slashers/rim attackers since OG went down.

No one cuts to the basket (except for Priller) last night.  Look at footage of Troy, Collin, etc. last year.  How do you think we were successful last year?

We don't cut, we hang out around the perimeter and hope that our shots drop.  Plan of disaster.

Thank heavens that Priller gave us a snapshot of what good fundamental basketball looks like.

Our guard play definitely led to this horrible season. They can't play defense or take care of the ball. Got our butts handed to us although a better coach gets different results.

I would only change one sentence in your post: "They WON'T play defense or take care of the ball."

I think they can, but they won't do it.

Just like it's not just Bryant(not saying you blamed him but a lot on here has). I've seen people calling him a baby but he's honestly the only player I think gives a ****.

I believe he does care but he needs to stop his whining and play ball! Every time he misses a shot or gets called for a foul he whines! But ya it's not just the guards, it's not just the bigs, it's the whole dang team starting with our garbage can of a coach

Bryant just doesn't know how to toe the line between being passionate and being a crybaby. I like that he cares. I'm not a big fan of his game but I really do appreciate the fact he actually gives a crap. I just wish he could keep his composure when things aren't going his way.

It's a maturity issue. He needs to just grow up and play the game. Every player gets called for fouls that they "didn't commit", and get called for stuff they didn't do. Things don't always go their way. Crap happens. Maturity is simply understanding that and playing through it.

Did he do it all last year too? This season feels like it has been going on for forever so I don't remember much from last season.

I'd just like to see some nice picks from him and a few others. We'd be unstoppable but....you know Crean ball !

Could you imagine an off ball screen from Bryant that JBJ curls around for a midrange?! Oh the options! JBJ from midrange or deep, a post entry, a slip from Bryant for a wide open dunk!! I believe Calbert scored 2000 of his points this way.
