We've got to start using a different bait if we're going to land the big fish.  I'm not going to spend the time looking at my records, but I think we had offers out to at least half of these kids - probably more than half - and couldn't land a single one.  The only possibility still in play for us is M. J. Walker.

Was just thinking the same. Recruiting seems to be headed in the wrong direction.

Were never even in it with any of them either. Not a single one where the decision wasn't well known that it wasn't IU for a long time before the kid officially announced.

Wilkes. Although, it's my opinion, we were never really ever going to be the school. But we were in until the end.

We were, but we weren't. It was a forgone conclusion he was going to UCLA for weeks. I guess by "never in it" I meant where it was coming down to the end and we were still really in it.
