According to someone on twitter, Zander's comments led to an inquiry of the program by the school. They must have found something they didn't like.

Depends who we hire permanently in my opinion. I'd say we keep a good chunk if Allen is hired. If we go elsewhere, then yeah back to square one and we'll lose some current players.

The only ray of sunshine I see is that better now than closer to spring practice or after spring practice.  It is the time of the year for coaches to look at possible moves and there are lots of possibilities out there.

Ugh this is bs. 2 steps forward, 3 miles back. His playcalling drove me crazy all year but you can fix that. We're not going to find a better coach to replace him. Better really enjoy this year's bowl game, it might be awhile before we're back again.

Unless they make the right hire. They made a decent choice with Wilson, he eventually got the results on the field. But if the reports are right, then he isn't the right guy long term. If they make the right hire again with someone who can continue with the current momentum then they'll be fine

If you hire Allen - which I am not against (experience is overrated). You had better go out and spend money on an offensive coordinator.
