IU OVER unc POST GAME THREAD

Yeah Bryant looks to be a solid player but still don't seem him being a first rounder. Hopefully that means he stays and this team can be dangerous next year.

He's not a great defender, some of the easy layups was with foul trouble in the first half.  When Davis increases his stamina I think we see a different look in the post.  Bryant still plays a ton off of emotion.  That is a good thing but his defense is directed related to how he's feeling at that moment.

It is funny, other than a few stretches against KU and tonight I don't think IU has looked great, certainly not near potential. Lots of room to grow. Here's to a team that improves steadily all season and peaks, oh I don't know, say early April? :)

I was thinking the same, so much work to do. And boy that was one ugly way to close one out

I agree. He has quite a bit of offensive potential, but he'll get eaten alive by NBA players defensively.

Thoughts on Bryant's defense? Seemed he let them get deep in the lane on any number of occasions. Sometimes he just doesn't seem to play as big as he is.

Seems as if he takes breaks in games for battling for position early to avoid those off the ball fouls. But when he battled for good position, he was more successful. Last year got called for a lot of ticky tacks, seems to be trying to avoid those
