  1. Iowa has 55 points with over 12 minutes left. Not sure the scoreboard in Kinnick Stadium is equipped for that.

  2. 1-0 WIN against an elite Washington offense that keeps the game on skates all night with elite speed and scoring ability. Was waiting to see if this defense is for real and tonight showed they are. Also, every IU player and fan is so glad Charlie Kosakoff is in MLS and not on Huskies anymore as he has been the Hoosiers kryptonite like no other for three years and costs them wins or draws each season recently with late goals. His replacement is barely a drop off but fortunately kept him from finding the back of the net. As for this D, Mroz is FINALLY a goalie in the mold of Celentano and Muse who has the combination of size and good instinct to make tough saves. Like in 2016-2020, it is going to be real hard to score on this team and will be close if they let up more than dozen or so goals in 2026. McHenry, Barger, Maher, and Kinsella finally give you an organized back line of steel and then to score opposition has to get by them AND Mroz if they make a mistake which is really hard. For the first time since 2020 I can say almost unequivocally this is a championship level backline and that no. 2 ranking is not a paper ranking. Def should be a top five squad all year and very few teams are better and most are in Big Ten. The key is going to be to get that top four seed so you can play all NCAA Tourney games in Bloomington pre-College Cup. Now my one concern in this offense. Njike is a different kind of forward with elite ball skills and dribbling who can set others up and score. While this is a great dynamic IU has lacked in their striker in past, it makes me nervous when you don't have a bona fide pure scorer who can put the ball in the net at any point like Toye, Rennicks, or Bezerra during that late 2010's run or Ault last year. Might need to win a lot of 1-0 games this year and this team can certainly do it. Just wish we had that pure scorer up top who can create for themselves with pure speed. Then would feel really good that this team would getting its ninth star like 2017 and 2018 where it was 10/10 as best in country. This time its more 8/10 unless someone becomes a sure goal threat. Bogard, Njike, Moller-Jensen, and Oduro can all score and have different traits to do so, but none dominant which makes it slightly more difficult but not impossible to hang a banner with this backline.

  3. Nick Marsh is a consistently physical and excellent blocker.

  4. This defense has a large, Aiden Fisher-sized hole in the middle of it. Pre and post-snap.

  5. Nothing like getting your QB killed late in a blowout. Hope their OLineman is ok

  6. I very much wish we didn’t have to play our only two backs this late in the game. (Turbo doesn’t seem to mind)

  7. Beebe has been thumping people in pass pro all day. Saved Hoover from getting waxed multiple times.

  11. Jared Kelly - Indiana's pregame warmups are complete. To recap: - Jamari Sharpe is in uniform - A.J. Harris, Nico Radicic, LeBron Bond NOT dressed - Nick Marsh was with the first-team offense in 11-on-11 drills - Trevor Gibbs, Blake Smythe are dressed and poised to make their debuts

  13. Yep I saw it was fake and I should have known better (Indiana education. ? LOL) On a side note at least I haven’t provided my social security number to random callers today.

  14. Really hate to see these injuries at the end of a game already in hand. Probably should have had the starters on the bench at this point.

  15. Beebe is a bigger back. Not sure Turbo or Khobe could take those beatings.

  16. Turbo and Khobie are way shiftier than Beebe. I assume that Beebe is better in pass protection and with WKU stacking up on the run that matters.

  17. Nice TD but still not hitting in stride. Becker had to come back to the ball again. Small things but needs to be fine tuned for B1G play.

  18. They are loading the box and taking their chances with Hoover. Pretty solid strategy. That having been said Hoover is 15 of 20 with two TDs and no interceptions; not a total disaster.

  19. He was a bright spot. Should have two more catches and maybe a TD if Hoover didn’t miss him.

  21. Defense not what I’d hoped for. Running game not what I’d hoped for. Passing game has been really good for the most part, until those last 2. Time for defense to make a big play and get the offense some plus time with the ball. Goodness

  24. It’s fake. And to give Mississippi some credit their K-12 is vastly improved and now top half or even top third in the country.

  26. Really happy about this one because it always felt like from a purely basketball perspective Malone had the cleanest, easiest pitch.

  28. Ravens Zay Flowers is doubtful this week with a hamstring issue. Sarratt is one of four available wideouts after Roshod Bateman. Hopefully Elijah gets an opportunity and grabs it in a big way.

  33. Yeah. They are begging us to. Beebe has been underwhelming this year, but surprisingly so has the O-Line.
