Agree. To me, it’s the equivalent of Woody drawing up a sweet BLOB game-winner for Cupps. That’s not the guy who’s gonna win or lose the game for me. It’s gonna be Taylor or Pittman or Downs or someone else you’ve relied on all year.

It's actually worse that that.  Gabe Cupps has plenty of experience with big minutes this year.  Deciding to put the entire playoffs on *whoever* Goodson is like Woody drawing up a final play in March for Jackson Creel

That plays importance isn't a drop in the bucket to the 3-4 drives that netted us nothing in the first half, though. That game was lost with our inability to move the ball, score points in the first half.

Non-story

"drawing up the final play".. no they ran what was open/going to get them a first down and didn't execute. I fail to see the issue. The basketball analogies don't really fit.

Lions just won a playoff game for the first time in 32 years!  They needed a play so Dan Campbell created a play for his best player.

Shane Steichen decided to throw it to his 9th string walkon.  Brilliant.

Good win Lions

Very cool that the lions won. Gutsy call to throw on 2nd down but it worked and looks great now.   Love going for the win.

Comparing Campbell to Steichen based on one play is interesting. Campbell won 3 games his first year with his QB healthy whereas Steichen won 9, mostly with a backup.  Hopefully both end up as great coaches.

Not comparing them overall, I'm comparing game winning plays.  One decided to go with his best player, one decided to go with what's-his-name.

Yes I'm still bitter

Sportscenter this morning is talking about the Cowboys.  "Stunning" "puzzling" " Nobody saw this coming"  LOL.  Really?  Isn't this exactly who they are?

It's the same as Archie supporters who were stunned, puzzled, nobody could have seen it coming.

Self reflection Sportscenter.

Been a long time since I've been happier for an outcome that I had no rooting interest in than Bucs-Eagles. Todd Bowles has always been a class act and Nick Sirianni is a straight creep. Dude flat out lost his team. No idea how you keep him.

ESPN used to be great, like real great. Now it is utter trash. Sad how far it has fell. Up until a year or 2 ago their radio shows were still ok but now even they are garbage.

I just love the Italian flag he wears, in two different spots on his coaching attire.

Seems like he's more interested in making the Eagles the mob than winning.  Flipping off the Chiefs was a sign, he looked like suuuuuch a tool there.

Why is that?  It's extremely popular.  Or do you mean because you prefer something else?  I'm so confused here
