Who did Bama beat this season? Seems they had a pretty pedestrian schedule and lucked into a spot. I figured O$U would have to whip up on Wiscy to overcome the $EC.

They did based on perception at the start of the season that they were an unbeatable juggernaut. Agree with you on that.

The Buckeyes needed to not get boatraced by Iowa. That killed them.

Yep. All this is saying is the committee felt that Alabama was the more consistently good team. they beat every unranked team they played after all

Not the New Year day bowl bonanza I grew up with, but a solid slate of games with two biggies to finish off the day.

UM could cap off a perfect 8-0 bowl run for the B1G. Suck on that SEC.

UCF trying for a perfect season might be a good step toward expanding playoffs to 8 teams.

Watching the Domers get punked while Kelly goes apoplectic is always fun.

Bama vs. Clemson, round 3. Should be another classic

Georgia and my Sooners. Boomer!

As much as I'd love to see ND and 'Big Game' Harbaugh lay an egg again, seeing the $EC go 0-5 today would make me laugh till September.

That statement brought back some great memories! Back before commercialization took over everything. Watching the Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, and Rose Bowl as a kid on New Year's Day was an annual tradition. I guess things are better these days but sometimes it just doesn't feel like it.

19-3 Mich to 19-16 Mich in 90 seconds. 'Big Game' Jim starting to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.

And the other SC take the lead in 6 minutes of game time.

IU had some boneheaded games this year. UM just completed messed that second half up. Turnover after turnover and bad decision after bad decision. How much longer does Harbaugh last without really winning anything?

South Carolina wins 26-19. Michigan loses yet another big game. Jim Harbaugh is probably the most overrated coach in college football. Dude can’t win big games

But just wait till June when he climbs Mt Everest or teaches Kim Jong-Un how to throw a spiral. That'll be some coverage.
