As long as Iowa doesn't choke this game away, they'll probably have had the most impressive first two weeks of the year. Their defense is cintage Alabama good

Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing the AP justify keeping Iowa St in the top 25 despite getting blown out at home

I'm looking forward to ND being higher than Iowa, because uhm.... their name is Notre Dame

Texas not even competing on the road against an unranked team. They should fall out of the top 25, right? They won't gotta do everything we can to get a top 25 opponent for Oklahoma.

Worse than Texas? It's bad for college football, but I will enjoy watching Texas get regularly thumped in the SEC.

I mean Washington lost at home against an FCS team. Amd they looked inept.

Both are just examples of how dumb preseason rankings are

Texas looked disinterested in tackling tonight

Was floored by how Arkansas just flat out-athleted Texas. They were bigger and more physical in the trenches and had way more team speed. That was no upset. If those teams played over and over, Arkansas wins over and over.

For whatever it is worth, ESPN's FPI has IUFB at 5 1/2 wins for the season after last night.  Interesting to see Sparty, Purdue, and Rutger circling the projected 7 win mark.

If our o-line and QB can very their stuff together….we’re still a dangerous enough team that can play with anyone on our schedule.

For sure, though I have many more doubts about our o-line than about Penix.
