Must be a dead week. NESPN Gameday went to Western Michigan hosting SUNY Buffalo; probably the worst team in FBS.

They could've gone to Harvard/Yale or maybe a high school game in Montana.

MSU scores on OSU in the first 45 seconds, and forces a punt in the Buckeye possesion.

Tied at half at 10.

OSU will win, 17-16. MSU missed a 2 pt conversion with over 4 remaining.

They'll probably beat PSU next week and send the Buckeyes back to the Big Ten title game.

ND (4-7) coughed up a 17 point lead at home and lost to Va Tech 34-31.  Even Touchdown Jesus may not be able to save Brian Kelly.

A former University of Notre Dame student athletic trainer violated NCAA ethical conduct rules when she committed academic misconduct for two football student-athletes and provided six other football student-athletes with impermissible academic extra benefits, a Division I Committee on Infractions panel announced. One additional football student-athlete committed academic misconduct on his own.

Guess maybe ND football just isn't that high and mighty any more in the eyes of the NCAA to recommend forfeiting 2 full seasons.

I hate ND as much as the next guy but the NCAA's concept of vacating wins is stupid. Unless a team physically cheated (stole a playbook, intercepted radio signals, bugged the locker room, etc.), you can't change history. I am also vehemently against taking away scholarships.

An excellent point. Wonder what the NCAA's answer would be.

I had to laugh. NCAA forced tiny Thomas More college to vacate a national title in D3 womens basketball because a player stayed with a coach while recovering from knee surgery. Of course they dont generate the money of a UNC....

The NCAA doesn't make the crazy money on football like they do basketball. They'll sanction football programs while slapping basketball programs on the wrist. It's not about the money though...

They'll probably win the appeal. But the "student"- trainer was doing a lot more than writing papers.

I like Bilas, but he should probably shut up if he doesn't know the entire situation, and judging from that tweet, he doesn't.
