Got bumped back a spot. 

Mississippi jumped past us -- all the way from No. 8 to No. 4. 

Not a huge deal -- we're still Top 5. But I don't getting moving up four spots for winning at home. 

Coaches kept us at No. 4 -- moved the Rebels up from No. 9 to No. 6.

Their Louisville win looks even better now after UL beat SMU, and Trinidad was amazing vs LSU.  Wins over #10 and #16 is the best resume in college football right now… just my opinion I think they earned the jump in rankings.

Don't get me started. It's the same poop different year. Louisville fans should be going nuts. They have a very strong case to switch spots with LSU.

There isn't 10 schools in the SEC that are top 25 in the country and I would bet a ton of money on that. No way they have 10 schools that good. LSU, Florida, and maybe A&M should all be either out of the rankings or at the very bottom. 

What's even more frustrating is LSU plays A&M this weekend and the AP will look at it as a matchup between 'Ranked' opponents. Freaking Florida at 21 is fraudulent. UCLA has a better resume than Florida.

I'm not really surprised by our ranking. We've played three nobodys and looked choppy as hell doing so. I still think we get screwed for being "Indiana", but  I'm sure voters are looking to see what happens against Ohio State and Michigan before giving us props in the rankings.

I think we would at least give it a shot. But every other team in the country is thinking the same. Dude is insanely sharp so far especially for a sophomore.

Yep but that’s why it’s critical that Hoover continues to show improvements. And he gets drafted.  Mendoza and Hoover came here to get better and improve draft stock.  That’s what we can sell

Here’s a stat to chew on:

Through 16 games and the college football playoffs, last year’s Hoosiers defense gave up a total of 180 points.

Through three games, this year’s Pur_ue team has given up 90.

USC is in a really good spot this weekend. I don't know where gameday is, but surprised if it's not the SC Oregon game

 

Edit: Gameday is at TN/TX game this weekend - of course. SEC's ESPN deal has ruined the Gameday. So many great options each week but they stay in the South

This week I feel Texas/Tennessee is the right place, Oregon isn't something this year till they do something. Next week should be O$U at Iowa esp. if Iowa beats Michigan this week. But then again, Bama may be having a bake sale and Sabans wife made brookies.

Alot of posters on X complaining about Gameday.  It used to go all over and the last year it's really stayed true to SEC grounds.  Will occasionally end up in Columbus but doesn't go out of its way to do much more than that unfortunately.  Honestly i do not watch Gameday anymore.  I stick to Big Noon because I don't really care for all of the SEC bias they spew.

All the premier SEC games would be revisiting a venue already gone too.  LSU, Texas and Tenn
