Proposed Rule Changes The dress code rule is absurd. They must of been upset with Ponds' look. lol. I like the fair catch rule and wasn't aware that rule was not in college football. I just assumed it was. It's one of those bizarre rules that makes coaches look like geniuses when applied. Targeting. Man, it 100% needs tweaking. It's good they're trying to do just that. Quote

I would have thought they had more funds, but talking to several alumni with connections, they say they were middle of the pack in the ACC last year in terms of football spending. From what I understand the ACC tv deal is structured in such a way that there are winners and losers. Schools like Wake Forest and Boston College see less compared to Clemson and Miami. I think it's a new revenue-sharing model where incentive payouts happen based on tv ratings and performance. If I were pulling any strings I'd do what FSU did and threaten to leave the conference with the hopes of either the Big Ten or SEC welcoming the Cards. UofL would be a nice addition to either conference and the ACC would take a pretty big hit with them leaving. skhoosier2 and BtownStrength 2 Quote
