This is an interesting conversation, especially with how lucrative it is now to be even an average college football player.

Personally (and this may ruffle some feathers), I really don't care much about the age of a player. I care more about a player taking up roster slots / snaps / NIL allocation for 6-7 years when it could be going to developing new talent. For example, I am not at all offended about the 30 year old Aussie punter we got for next year. I do, however, cringe at the 7 year safety we got from Wisconsin. This is nothing against him personally. If CIg and staff want him, I am sure he is a great young man and a fantastic, hard-working culture fit. But it takes away from underclassman development.

Personally, I am glad Chambliss 6 year was denied. Maybe the NCAA will begin to make this a more regular outcome.

Yea. I like the old 5 to play 4 model. OTOH, you have to do something to distinguish yourself from other pro feeder leagues. I’m not sure how that’s done

They have convinced themselves that Riola was going to be the back up.  Delusional fanbase.

Well, Moore was willingly to wait as a backup.  Maybe Raiola is too.  lol.  :))

Not a great fit, imo. He's slow both running and decision making. The fact Nebraska kicked him out and no one seems sorry to see him go is telling. Apparently his "camp" is a nightmare.

Everybody’s favorite didn’t do well in The Athletic’s fan survey on CFB commentators/analysts/personalities.

I just don't get it. I love Klatt being near the top and the unexpected good vibes for Auerbach is nice to see, but Saban is not good and is nowhere as informative as Urban.

And BaldTrollDumb@$$? That dislike for him is a badge of honor - he is a purposeful troll that does his SEC hot takes to generate fan interest via hate listens. So I appreciate him as someone who is probably really good for generating interest in the sport, pro wrestling heel style. BaldTrollDumb@$$ and Urban are both infinitely smarter and more interesting than turds like Brady Quinn and Desmond Howard.
