Haines would take a $1.2 million annual pay cut to be the head guy at JMU. I'm thinking that Haines will get a HC job that is more in line with legit salary expectations.

HE LEFT HIS DOG IN OXFORD!!!!!!
He didn’t bother to take it with him. Not only that, the rumor is that the dog, which was kind of a team mascot and was on the field during games and even had his own Twitter was in fact not his and it was all just a ruse to make Kiffin appear more likable. Jesus Christ, are you kidding me.

JMU had a pretty massive offer/roster commitment on the table for Bob. Money isn’t an issue there.

Well, I'm guessing that whether it's JMU or somewhere else, this is Haines' last year with Cig before he becomes a HC.

Sure hoping he leaves IU with a National Championship. Wouldn't that be something.

Now that apparently Sitake is not taking Penn St their Twitter world seems to be resigning themselves to having to “settle” for Jeff Brohm. Am I the only 1 who thinks the guy they’d be “settling” for is really freaking good and they should be thrilled if that comes together?

Penn State also just got turned down by yet another coach. Kraft/PSU money people really stepped in it on this one. Real shame.

Brohm is really good, but I’m not totally convinced PSU can get him out of UL.

For some levity ... 

After our game and postgame festivities, I switched over to the ACC title game -- just in time to see Duke win in OT. 

I guess he was being serious, but I damn near fell off my couch then watching Manny Diaz lobby for his 7-5 team to get a CFP slot. 

I get that he was just doing his job and standing up for his team, but still ...
