I live in nc, and I keep getting told " you guys had a nice tournament". Boy would I love my Hoosiers stick it to them. I might just go to the UNC Union building in my candy stripe pants and sing our fight song.

Though, like all sports statistics, it has trouble with the smaller intangibles like match ups. It gave us only a ~20% chance of getting past Kentucky too. I think we had the highest chance of a 12-5 upset too.

True true. Never said it was perfect, just another cool way to view things.

We were on vacation the summer after we beat them to win it all and I had my husband take my picture in all my I.U. gear in front of the "Dean Dome".  Hope you get to do it!

We have the same odds of winning the championship as #1-seed Oregon.  Interesting.

UNC fans keep thinking that Indiana can't run with them but that's when Indianas at their best. They keep saying how their bigs will demolish ours but I can't wait to see how well they will do keeping up with ours. They say that Kentucky bigs suck and is no comparison but they seem to forget that they were actually playing pretty well until they met the Indiana defense. I hope they underestimate Indiana thinking this is the same team that got blown out by Duke. I really wouldn't be surprised if Indiana wins this by double digits. This is a far more balanced team than 2012 and Crean had a great game plan to whoop UNC back then.

I wish I'd been tracking them since the beginning. It's so interesting how the percentages change each round. Our low projection is because UNC is in our way.

i would bet not most Iu fans besides the die hard recruiting fans would know that pinson, Meeks and Kenny Williams were recruited hard by the iu staff

Who the hell is John Crispin?

He's the guy on BTN who keeps telling us about Minnesota's bright future coming off a 13th-place finish and the 7th-best recruiting class in the conference according to ESPN. Ergo, I suspect he is a relative of the Pitinos.

I feel if this team beats UNC, we will play for a National Championship. That's how much stock I put into this game. An IU team that wins Friday is full of heart and grit and nothing stops them from a destiny-type season. I can't lie, Friday terrifies me but i also know this team when playing together, can accomplish anything.
