I thought the committee really sucked this year. Not just based off us being a 5 either. A lot of questionable seedings, but when you look close it sets up a lot of high ratings games and extra money which is what they look for most sadly.

We got hosed! We should be at least a 4. I don't have a problem with UK as a 4 but they should be
head of a&m. Virginia should be a 2. MSU should be a 1. Winning the Big ought right is not a 5 seed no matter how hard you try. Maryland and Iowa were top 10 teams all year along with Purdue top 15. Total BS on our whole conference. I was really upset with losing to Michigan, but I never expected this. We got absolutely no credit for beating teams by 25 to 30 points throughout the year. Too much stock is put into the conference tournament!

It wasn't just the conference tourney.  PAC12 and ACC got a lot of love.  I guess the B1G actually lost the B1G/ACC Challenge in the end.  Don't get me wrong, I think the PAC12 was a good conference this season but I'm not sure they deserved 7 teams seeded as high as they were.  Cal got a 4 seed?  Too many losses and not a great OOC.  They had 0 OOC wins against tourney teams.

Yep! How about tge committee cutting us some slack for winning without key players or losing at the last second with the same beat up team?
I just wish they wouldn't have given UK a chip on their shoulder too. Calipari will motivate his troops as well. I saw us as a final four team , at least elite 8. This is a tough draw starting with Chattanooga.

According to the rankings released by the committee, we should be in the South bracket as the #1 5 seed.  Purdue should be in the East, Maryland in the Midwest and Baylor in the West.

I'm not going to complain about our seeding. We laid an egg vs. Michigan. We had no business losing that game. We literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. A lot of selfish play in that game. Not nearly enough kick outs to get the 3 game going. A lot of forced action. Maybe that was game plan? If so, it was a horrible plan. You have to put teams away.
