No we lost the OPENING game. Virginia lost in the championship game to a 1 seed. Losing the first game is a BIG deal fellas. Purdue played its way up to a 5 seed imo. They were lower coming into the week.

Maybe they did. They also took into account getting blown out by a mediocre Duke team and bad teams in UNLV and Wake. To be honest Indiana has themselves to blame.

We can thank ourselves for the poor selection. Abysmal performances in the Maui and B1G tournaments, we deserve it. However, as Hoosiers we should be reveling in the opportunity of high profile match-ups against other Blue Bloods like UK and UNC.

IMO this is our opportunity to prove ourselves that we belong. I am pumped for these match-ups. Time to avenge 2011!

Big ten title aside what were IUs biggest wins this year? A fading Iowa squad almost dummies down the sweep. Maryland started to fade late. I think they took this into account as well.

you said conference tournaments were important i pointed out examples and now u changed it to losing early in the conference tournaments. Kentucky beats a&m in the finals but yet Kentucky gets a 4 and a&m gets a 3

In a common opponent---the Mocs beat Illinois by 4. They have not really played many quality opponents.  We should be fine if we play our game. Then comes the UK power match.  Ullis versus Yogi---have to admit that will be fun to watch. Go Hoosiers!

We got screwed. But it wasn't just that single game like you guys think. For some reason the committee went away from KenPom this year

ESPN has IU as the #14 team in the Tourny. I really dont understand how we end up as a 5. Iowa State, Kentucky, Duke, and Cal got 4's....
