(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Recommended Posts

I’ve reread yogis post like 10 times and don’t see it. Doesn’t say Davis anywhere

You are correct and incorrect at the same time. Mr. Davis’s given name is De’Ron. Look again at the final paragraph, the one that starts “Not comfortable putting De’Ron in there yet.....”

Juwan will most certainly dip his toe in... he’d be silly not to gather free advice.  However, he doesn’t have to pull his name until June 21st.  RL will have to decide on feel.

It all comes down to Morgan basically.

Just now, MikeRoberts said:

This is the whole entire post that shows up for me. 1 paragraph and no mention of Davis

Not comfortable putting De'Ron in there yet until I know he will be ready and once he is our lineup would change. Devonte Green & Clifton Moore are wildcards depending on whether they stay or go.

That's ending of the post

Rumor is Romeo will pay attention to one roster. He knows Kansas will have talent regardless whether Newman stays or not is not a factor as some have said. Grimes is a born scorer so if anything he would bother him more. At Vandy he knows what things will likely look like. He is curious about Juwan Morgan though. Most know Juwan wouldn't get drafted most likely but that hasn't stopped guys from leaving in the past. If he knows the chances of coming in with Morgan are high, IU looks A LOT more appealing. Most could've guessed that, but just sharing the rumors flowing that I came across today and that it could be a reason he is delaying things. Also not announcing at McDonald's game has gave them some freedom to not rush it.
I've also talked to some people close to the Evansville program and they think Ryan Taylor will come down to Arizona, IU, Purdue, UCLA & of course it wouldn't be normal if the powerhouse Vandy wasn't in it. Point is if we land one of these guys, let alone both I think our chances of a B1G title run are high.

PG: Rob Phinisee/Al Durham
SG: Romeo Langford/Damezi Anderson/Vijay Blackmon
SF: Ryan Taylor/Jerome Hunter/Zach McRoberts
PF: Justin Smith/Race Thompson
c: Juwan Morgan/Jake Forrester

I have no idea who Yogi's Picnic Basket is but this guy comes with the it often. I like it! Not sure of his connections or who he's talking to but keep it coming man!

Ahhh you are light 1 paragraph. Ya know, I’ve run into this on the app before. I would ask if Yogi had edited that post to add the final paragraph at a later time. I’ve noticed that in some circumstances, a post edit made from the desktop site does not always update to app users. Theory of course. Anyway, now you know.

I think he just didn’t scroll down, his entire post is there for me on the app and if you look at his screenshot the like and reply isn’t at the bottom so there is more to the post.

No big deal, just saying, it still isn’t there no matter how I view it

Q: With Romeo waiting until April to decide where he is attending, do you think that helps or favors KU a little more? Maybe he is waiting to see who leaves from there.

A: The top-ranked senior available, Romeo Langford, is now on commitment watch. After completing his senior year of play this weekend, the five-star guard remains focused on a final three of Kansas, Vanderbilt, and Indiana. The talk has surrounded Langford waiting until April to decide, which should only help KU’s chances.

Like most elite prospects that decide not to sign during the early period in November, they tend to wait until the spring to see who might be leaving and who might be staying regarding NBA decisions. Seeing that Vanderbilt and Indiana are likely to see no one leave early for the NBA Draft, Kansas is the remaining final suitor that could see early departures to the league.

Kansas will lose Svi Mykhailiuk and Devonte Graham to graduation, and could also see Malik Newman and LaGerald Vick opt for the NBA. KU will enroll five-star guards Devon Dotson and Quentin Grimes, and will also see the eligibility lifted on transfer Charlie Moore.

Indiana remains the program to beat with Vanderbilt not far behind, but with a decision that isn’t expected until April, the Jayhawks might just have enough in them to eke out another five-star commitment this spring.

So another guy who knows nothing and is totally guessing. Sounds to me like if Morgan goes pro we aren't getting Romeo from what yogi said. That makes sense since we would be middle of the pack without morgan.

Some people just can’t handle good news. Would we be as dismissive if Evans said Vandy or Kansas was the leader?
Hardly. I'm just not getting my hopes way up anymore given how garland played out and half of the inside source connected guys say he's going to vandy. I think iu but who knows.
