The fact he brought the whole family leads me to believe he is very serious about vandy. I personal think we may not lead at this point anymore and maybe we never did. If he picks vandy he is clearly not interested in playing in a big time atmosphere because vandy would be the worst gym in the big ten except maybe Penn state.

That's why I thought the bringing the whole family to vandy wasn't a good sign. If he doesn't visit iu with the family again I think the writings on the wall imo. Hope I'm wrong.

Maybe the reason the family went with him is because the don't want their 18yr old son driving 3hrs for a trip to Nashville. I wouldn't necessarily want mine to.

Nope.
Even less public talk about the visit than I thought there’d be. Completely radio silent so far.
I can only imagine what the board’s response would be if there’d actually been some reaction!

Bloomington is only 50 mins shorter of a trip. People tend to forget how close Nashville is to the Louisville area.

That is the most illogical answer possible and it isn’t even close. What backlash? The people watching him now are more Romeo fans than IU fans. It isn’t like season ticket holders are going to watch Romeo to put pressure on him. Seriously, do you guys believe some of the things you type?

If they wanted to do that then they would of done the same with the Wilkes recruitment to drive up subscriptions. Instead months before he chose UCLA, they were saying UCLA was the front runner. If they wanted to drive up subscriptions since Bridges had IU in his final 3 and IU had 2 of his former teammates on the roster they could of said IU was in it until the end. But they said from the beginning that IU was a distant 3rd

People are getting hung up on the fact his family traveled with him. Apparently he made his most recent trip to Bloomington without them.

Lots of possibilities for this, most of which will be discussed here as conspiracy theories at best.

As involved and protective of Romeo as Tim Langford has been, I think we often overlook the impact mom and dad have here, as well as their points of view...

If my child was making the biggest decision of his life so far and I could only accompany him to one visit, it would be to the destination I thought was the wrong choice.

Garland word spread a little different than others. It was through his High school friends and Vandy football commits.

The last paragraph is exactly what I was thinking about the vandy visit....he doesnt have to visit with romeo to IU, maybe out of a high comfort level. Again, this is pure speculation....just like every thing else said on this board, ever

I just hope Romeo doesn't go to Vandy so that way I can still root for him. It doesn't have to be IU. Just as long as he's not teaming up with that kid Garland.
